At the heart of Souliers Martinez lies a dedication to craftsmanship. Each collection is distinguished by hand-braiding and weaving — skills passed down through generations of Spanish artisans — reimagined alongside modern weaving techniques to create shoes that are both visually striking and enduringly comfortable. Every detail, from custom-developed heels to leather soles with refined gum inserts, reflects the brand’s pursuit of design coherence and functionality.

Production is carried out exclusively in Europe, across five family-owned workshops in Spain, Italy, and Portugal, each specializing in its own savoir-faire. Souliers Martinez works closely with a braiding workshop in Alicante, where women artisans hand-braid leather uppers in a tradition that honors centuries of Mediterranean know-how.

Sourcing is equally thoughtful: all leathers come from LWG-certified tanneries in Italy, Spain, and Portugal, with an emphasis on reusing deadstock hides whenever possible. Wholesale production is made to order, and e-commerce runs on limited initial quantities to minimize waste. The brand has eliminated plastic from packaging and adapted box formats to reduce volume.
