Conscious Closet with co-host Lea Rohe

Conscious Closet with co-host Lea Rohe

Thursday September 4th, we opened the doors to something new at SARTH: Conscious Closet. A community event series designed to rethink the way we connect with our wardrobes — and each other.

Hosted in collaboration with content creator and holistic stylist Lea Rohe, the evening invited guests to bring one piece from their closet that they no longer wear. Together, we explored how a single garment can be transformed with fresh eyes, new combinations, and a more conscious approach to personal style.

Why Conscious Closet?

At SARTH, clothing is never just about trends. It’s about meaning, mood, and the everyday choices that shape who we are. Conscious Closet was born from a simple idea: that the pieces hanging unworn in our wardrobes might not have lost their value — they just need a new perspective.

It’s also about curiosity. Curiosity towards what you wear, how you feel in your clothes, and the choices you make every day when you open your wardrobe. Being curious means noticing why you reach for certain pieces, what makes you feel comfortable or powerful, and how your style shifts with your state of mind. In this way, Conscious Closet is not only about reviving forgotten items — it’s about rethinking your relationship with your wardrobe as a whole.

An evening of style and community

Over light refreshments, we gathered in Saxogade and shared stories, styling tips, and inspiration. Lea guided us through how personal style can shift how we feel — and we explored the intersection of personal style, mental health and self-expression.

The room was filled with openness and creativity. What started as “that piece I love but I can never wear” became a conversation starter, a style experiment, and an understanding of why we chose the item in the first place and why we don't feel it when putting it on.

More than clothes

For us, Conscious Closet is about more than fashion. It’s about community, creativity, and finding joy in what we already own. It’s about slowing down, sharing ideas, and building a relationship with style that feels authentic and lasting.

This was only the beginning. Conscious Closet will return — new editions, new perspectives, and new opportunities to reconnect.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us for the very first chapter and to Lea Rohe for guiding us with her thoughtful approach to style.

Stay tuned for the next edition.

HUGS,
SARTH 🖤
